Practice session for me and the drivers. Its been awhile since I shot motorsports and worked on panning.

All the EXIF is available on flickr. The basics are a slower shutter speed and good panning. For faster moving cars you can get away with 1/320 but moving it down into the 1/100 to 1/160 results in what you see above. Really good photogs can go much slower but my talent ran out at 1/100.

Good shots. Wide angle pans are quite hard, but yours came out pretty nice. Road America is such a fun spot to shoot, if I didn't have a wedding on Saturday I definitely would have been out there!
