The puddles collecting on the side of the road in the first one aren't doing it for me. Otherwise I really like the rest of the set, especially 2,3, and 7.

Thanks!

If I may ask, what is it about the puddles that is bothersome? I'll readily admit I didn't plan for that to be in the frame. I was paying more attention to the cobblestone street and the couple not getting hit by a yellow cab. :D

Since when was this proper forum to get C and C from?

#1 I think I would have liked it with the couple being centered on the street more, I have no idea if that would have been possible. Or use the puddles reflection to show off the couple.

#2 Love the shot, with a minor grumbling about the purse.

#5 Needs a flake glare added.

#8 My favorite, just bring her left hand up to show off her ring.

Well done Nick.

Oh, don't even go there!

Agreed and that was the shot I wanted. Actually we started off in the middle of the street, but then quickly realized that wasn't a great idea. The few shots I got off, I wasn't crazy about.

Yeah. I know! The funny thing is I didn't even notice that tiny purse until later on. A lesson learned for next time!

I'm not even sure if you are serious or not! I was definitely looking for a glare shot but the sun was just too high! :(

Agreed...again. That would have been the icing on the cake.

Well done Nick.

Thanks. Very helpful feedback. Much to think about for next time!

Great Job Nick! It looks to be the middle of the day so you handled the lighting situation very well. #5 and 8 are my favorites of the set #3 had the potential to be a pretty nice ring shot had her hand been on top of his, Im sure you knew that but something to look for next time.

Great Job like always!

Thanks man!

We started off around 10:00am, so the sun was beginning to do its evil thing. :)

Yeah, #3 was more like "Hey, that looks like a cool backdrop so let's shoot something", so actually, I wasn't even paying attention to the ring. But now that you mentioned it, I could have killed two birds with one stone! :D;)

Agree with most of what CTP said.

LOL at 2! When I first saw the photo I thought "Why the heck did she bring a coffee thermos to her Engagement shoot?" then saw it was a purse.

3 could have used a little more dramatic pose to go with the hard edge look of the backdrop, which is defintely cool.

And 7 is probably my favorite, except I think I would have liked from the right and a little higher since the photo is not exactly symmetrical. It would have taken that sign out of his head, though there might have been other considerations I can't see that made you choose this vantage point.

good job!

#8 is my favourite, and while I'm a huge fan of the processing, it doesn't seem consistent with the rest of the set. Nothing wrong with that, just sayin'.

Am I the only one who is seeing a, "suggestive" numerical theme coming through in #6? Not sure if that was intentional or not.

Yeah...#2. Hey, at least it's a slick looking purse right? ;)

#3...point well taken. I still like the photo, but definitely not "dramatic". What would you have suggested?

#7: Agreed on the sign and moving slightly to the right would have prevented that. Good call. I need to do a better job minding my surroundings!

#6...I noticed the 69 before I took the shot. Absolutely. But I thought the rest of the building looked really cool so I went for it. :)

#8...yeah, it's not my typical processing style, but I thought it would have looked better since the color version was kinda meh with the harsh light washing the colors out, etc.

Awesome feedback guys. Keep 'em coming!!! :)
