POTN UK SE - Farne Island puffin tour - Photo thread

A small group from the UK South East thread ventured up from the south of England to Northumberland this weekend to photograph a number of sea birds that are breeding on the Farne Islands. The main drawcard was the delightful puffins, but a number of gulls, guillemots, razorbills, shags, oyster catchers and seals were also spotted over the weekend.

Hi All

Could not delay :lol: so agter a quick first 'cut' I have PP'ed these few to share!
Puffins in flight are devilish hard to capture but here is one for now with sandeels ;)

Will post some more tonight. It was almost impossible to meter for the puffins as the bright sunlight either washed out their face or underexposed the black. The Saturday was slightly better as it was overcast.
