So, the elementary school that I went went to as well as the one my daughter went to is being torn down as they build a new one right next to it. My daughter and I snuck in to wander around and I took a few shots. I'd love to get some feedback, people are typically not what I shoot but I'm trying it a little more lately.

Thank you all for the feedback. Being too dark is something I seem to gravitate too, on a lot of the images I try to create, I feel if I trust the Histogram and adjust accordingly, that it takes away from the photo and the mood I'm trying to elicit. I'll adjust these and see what everyone thinks.

I like the first one in the first post. There's nothing bright and lively about a building being torn down. That was executed well. The second one was just way to dark. I don't think the fix was all that good either. Just too much of a shadow there. Nice try though.

I re-edited number two and finished a few more. Please let me know what you think.

I love the idea of these and the execution as well, except that her expression doesn't match what the shot is trying to convey, with the exception of the third one under the tree where she is looking off to the left. She looks frightened and confused, like "what is going to happen now?" which is perfect!! love it. last one too is great.

Yea, this was my first time out with my daughter and really first time out trying something like this. There are a few things, like facial expression, I know to pay closer attention to in the future. Good news is, I've got a built in model now. She really had fun with it.
