I suggest you contact Santa Cruz Skateboards and check for permission to copy their artwork. They may be willing to allow the printing because it is advertisement for them.

Is that really necessary? It's for his son's room.

The photographs are of Santa Cruz Skateboard's artwork. Santa Cruz Skateboards might be OK with prints being made for the OP"s son, but Santa Cruz Skateboards also sells their artwork on many items, including decals, (please look at an example here: http://www.nhsfunfactory.com …z/Classic-Dot-Decal-12-in (external link)), so Santa Cruz Skateboard may want the OP to buy the artwork.

Ah ok, if they're selling their work as print media, I'd definitely ask for permission.

You might be OK with the OP copying an image from your website (in your signature) and printing for the OP's son, but you own the copyright to your photographs, and went to the effort to mention that all rights are reserved. Wouldn't you like the OP to check with you before printing your images?

Like I said above, if it's print media already being sold, I can understand.

Try explaining that to all the teens that have various items printed off the internet to stick in their room :)

The short is answer is yes, respect the the copyright on artwork.

Will do! Thanks for your advice!
