However, the bags advertised for laptops are much larger than needed for a netbook. Hoping someone can guide me to specific models which might be the proverbial "just right." -Amber

The back compartment Unfortunately one of the things that the bag doesn’t have is a compartment for laptops. There is enough room for possibly an iPad or a netbook computer, but my 13” laptop was far too large to fit inside. This is annoying at times when I want to have my laptop with me, but I figure keeping it at home helps me focus on what matters the most when I am on the streets–which is shooting. http://erickimphotography.com …-retrospective-30-review/

I say check out those TT Retrospective, I just pulled the trigger on a Retro 30, I know it won't fit a laptop in there but according to most reviews it would fit an Ipad on the back pocket... so if a netbook is somewhere around 10" then I assume it would fit in there. Spoke with ThinkTank today, and they didn't recommend the Retro, as they thought the 20 was a bit more than I needed and the 10 too small for the netbook. Instead, they suggested the Urban Disguise 35 2.0 which I have to say does look almost custom-designed for this purpose. I prefer the styling on the Retro, but function does trump all. -Amber
