Hi,
I'm trialing the 60D at the moment and wonder if you have any tips for getting the focus right when the background is a little busy?
I know they can be good and some of the shots I've taken in the last few days have been my best (non-BIF shots) but yesterday I was out on a cloudy day with the 100-400 and had very few keepers even only a couple with birds on a feeder!
I've also found that the autofocus is a little skittish, I can have something locked and then it focuses on the background for a second then back again, but by that time I've missed the shot. This is a all nine points, but keeping a swift under a single point seems impossible.
Any tips would be gratefully received.

This next one was odd though, focused originally using single point (threw these away) but then switched to all points raised the viewfinder up so that only the head of the bird was under the points then took this:
