I should see if I have a pic or two of my 2nd son with his first birthday cake - my little mr prim & proper only took one of the candies off his cake and sucked on it and that was it. refused to stick his hands in the icing/cake and get messy...... it was the cleanest 1st birthday kiddo I'd ever seen! LOL my other son (who we sat on the floor on a mat with his cake) CRAWLED through it and had it EVERYWHERE!!!!! total polar opposites!

@ Jenn, my daughter was like that too, very gente girl and she juyst waited for a slice and got a little smear on her face!
