1D MK II going Alzheimer?

My 1D mk II seems to be stuck with a more or less Alzheimer-syndrome. Regardless of ISO, imagesize, JPEG compression I've only got room for 89 images despite the use of my 1 GB or 2 GB flashcard... Both CF's are formatted and checked ok.

The number of exposures left is 89 in ANY setting exept RAW, in RAW I've got room for 74 exposures. Even SMALL in JPEG 1 gives only 89 exposures... Tried resetting the camera and doublechecked the c.Fn - but what's up?

Is it the end, is it the Final Countdown?

Current count is 9910...?

Is it counting down to exposure # 10000? Why?

Wont allow you to go over 10,000 exposures. I think it'll reset itself once you roll past 9999.

Mine just did this to me. That's as high as it goes. When it gets to 9999 it will ask you to start a new folder or to start numbering again in the same folder.

Yeah, that's what I meant to say. Reset the counter and you'll be fine.

Don't. Reset your counter.
