You know what I realized on my last ride? It mainly works only if you are riding alone or with a group of other photogs making frequent stops. I was with my wife and her friend (and my son in a trailer attached to my bike lol) and I found myself seeing some decent photo ops but not wanting the hassle of stopping, pulling the Camera out, adjusting for exposure etc, and catching back up to the others. Anybody else deal with this or similar issues?

Its the opposite for me  If i ride alone i dont stop because im paying attention to my pace time so much that i forget to stop for pictures. But riding with Mayra (my gf) I always sprint ahead with my normal pace. So i find somewhere nice to stop and ill drink some water while i take a pic and waiting for her to catch up to me. She passes me without stopping and i use that as a challenge to myself to catch up to my next stopping point so she can pass me. Rinse and repeat :)

Here is a quick glimpse of what you can see and do as a Biking Photog:

And, you are not limited in your subject matter!:

Hmm...maybe it would help if I was a decent amount faster than my wife. I feel so out of shape and lazy now!

Turkey Vulture (external link) by TheLostVertex (external link), on Flickr

I followed a group of turkey vultures I saw in the sky for a few miles and found where a bunch of them were roosting. Sadly it was hard to get shots of the through all the trees.

Also, I have created a flickr group if any one on flickr wants to add their related photos to the pool
