I met a friendly TV crew who were not only happy to let me park my bike by their van and gear, but also showed real interest when I pulled out my 5DC with the big white 70-200 on it:

It was a sad memorial ride to drop of my beloved 5D Classic at the nearby UPS store to be wrapped, boxed and sent off to the Canon Service Center in Irvine, CA -- it should be gone for 1-2 weeks, I guess.
