There is not too much to be 'Harsh' about. But several things to look out for.

Such as her shadow on his face in the first shot. If they had been turned ever so slightly more it would have had no shadow.

The other 2 are very flat light. A reflector or OCF turned way down to give the light some direction would be 100% better.

This is what stands out to me. But I would say good job... just keep track of the details.

Thanks again. In terms of giving the light direction, do you have any good examples of this? I thought the shadows were soft, but still present giving some depth to the lighting on the face. I don't know though, maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way.

Mark1,I thought the last two had processing done to them? Thus the un-natural tones?

^Not sure that's what it is referring to?

Any comments on the whole set (note Flickr guest link up top).

They are referring to the color casts. The second pic is blue the third is orange. Notice the skin is a different color in each photo. I dont mind the cast at all. The last may be a bit strong, but I am in a color cast phase and dont mind too much.

Which pic are you referring? The first is a mix of hard and soft light. The shadow on his face I am referring to is quite defined making it hard light.

The second is not really bad, but I do think it needs some direction to make it better.

The third ...there is no shadow on them at all. Again, it is fine but could easily be better.

Ah thanks again Mark! I don't really have an OCF setup, so I'm really just working with on-camera. I need to grab some reflectors to work with ambient light more.

Any more comments on the entire set are appreciated! Thanks everyone.
