Taken one cold summer day. This guy stood perfectly still for me. Let me stick that ol' mpe65 right in his face and never flew off.

this dragonfly has amazing colours!

I agree with the comment that the first one is too dark

The second one has wonderful eye detail and perfect DOF, but with this magnification, I do not understand why you chose to crop the bottom part of the eye and leave empty room in the top part, it would have been an amazing portrait with the whole face in the shot.
