I've just received my new Gopro Hero camera and am ultra excited about it, so now I'm looking for some interesting new ideas on situations to use it in. I've got quite a few different mounts and have already been for a drive around my home town with it attached to my car, and have stuck it to a wall while I was at volleyball training. Soon I hope to take it out with me on my surfboard, and on my kayak. But I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on new or completely outrageous things to try??:)

Not necessarily untried, just something most people (me) wouldn't think of. You are right though, it is great. I think it may travel everywhere with me!!

I strapped one to my dog. Too heavy, but there is a "keyfob camera" that will work pretty well if you want to do such things :)

Not particularly recommended (traveling into a war zone that is) but watching this video you'll see a gopro mounted to the hot shoe of one of the photographers SLR cameras and I'm assuming the video itself was shot with a gopro (or something like it) on the head of the reporter.

I happen to be headed to a war zone next month. I'm bringing one of these specifically for the reason that it doesn't stand out like an SLR with a 70-200 on the front.

Not sure if you've found this forum yet, but there is a lot of good info and I'm sure you can find some cool ideas on here too. Ones that I've seen that I really liked was attached to a remote control helicopter that had floats on it so it could land on water. Coming up out of the water with it and then flying around was pretty awesome.

Time lapse is really fun with them. Just make sure you render it correctly.
