I have a markins ballhead and am looking for a plate that can work with 5D Mark II. The camera plate P52U from markins (external link) will sure work, however I was wondering whether Arcatec 2172 (amazon link (external link)) will also work?

Thanks in advance!

Yes they are compatible,

The quick release camera plates by Acratech are compatible with plates from Arca-Swiss, Kirk, Wimberly, Really Right Stuff, Foba, and any other tripod heads that accept the Arca-Swiss mount.
