At Wrigley Field last night - he's obviously shooting video.

I guess he's focusing with the wheel. Or is he zooming?

looks like focussing with the wheel - he's zooming with right-hand (easier to see in second shot)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

That is a follow focus device, it allows for repeatable and finer focusing than using the ring on the lens.

LOL Yes, which is why I posted following your post. I just wanted to make sure that he had at least 20 lazy people not reading the thread, realizing the question had already been answered. Better safe than sorry! ;)

His name is Rusty and he's a regular TV cameraman at the Giants' ballpark in SF. Looks like he was shooting for MLB at Wrigley Field.

He still has time, singles night is July 6.

Hmmm - maybe I'll drop an email to Kruk and Kuip (the Giants broadcasters) to see if they can get some mileage out of this thread during a broadcast. Heh.
