Still shooting JPEG. Just haven't picked up the whole RAW deal yet.

Thought I would throw a few bikes in the mix. Seems like they are not represented as well as the other forms of transportation.

Wasn't much of a way (if any) to get just the bike on the shot most times given the crowd at the rally and set up. I angled the shots in an attempt to focus on the bikes and take away some of the background distractions.

Shots are from a 20D, 24-105 f/4L using a B+W Kaesemann CPL

Constructive criticism is more than welcome. I know I have a long way to go still.

It seems like a good idea, doesn't it? But even with the distractions, I like the angle in 3 & 4 best. Getting down to tank level for one shot works better for me. Then I try to shoot around the bike for some variety.

The bike in your link is INSANE!

I see what your saying. I should have pulled the 85 1.8 out and played around with some shots. I am thinking back now and realizing that I could have (possibly) captured some of what makes each of the bikes unique.

I'll have to remember that the next time I shoot something. Thanks for the tip/insight!

I think this calls for another body..... possibly a 5D or 7D. Then I will always be "locked and loaded".

He does good work, & has been at it since before P. Jr was a zygote. :D
