Almost walked into this spider...

I went to walk outside and just barely caught myself from hitting this guy. He built his web right between the edges of the doorway so he was perfectly positioned to be walked into. Not to mention it was night and I could barely see a thing. Luckily that didnt happen, and it was a good photo-op :)

I dont know the specific type of spider, but it seems to be a normal orb weaver. So I'd say not very dangerous. Maybe a painful bite, but nothing really harmful.
