"NO CAMERA" which she was saying when I took this.

I guess I have been practicing too much, not that you can tell by this photo

maybe you are looking at "better" the wrong way.

This is my favorite picture I have seen all day, and the one that I am most likely to think about or tell someone about tomorrow.

I get it...not technically perfect, but captures the moment perfectly.

Fair2partlycloudy- :) She was actually mad because she knew we were going in the blow up pool and was ready to go (I was waiting for my son to change).

aduda- Thanks, that is so sweet of you to say. I think I just get frustrated because I have a hard time remembering how to do the settings and then the camera isn't doing what I expect it to do half the time or I get several blurry pics.

With that said, here she is a little happier after getting to swim:

I know what you mean about being frustrated. Every time I do a shoot I forget something that I KNOW how to do. And I get home and look at photos and it's like oh my gosh, I had the white balance set wrong the whole time? But I do find that the more and more I do it, the better I get. You just have to keep doing it tons. I agree with aduda about the first pic--awesome emotion, you really captured the moment. That picture has IMPACT, which all kinds of technically perfect pictures don't.

Great captures and being new to this I totally know how you feel! It's so incredibly frustrating that sometimes I just want to set the darn thing back on auto and mindlessly snap pics like I used to LOL.

bonnie and crunchy- thank you :)

That's how I was starting to feel, like I was just gonna go on auto and forget it.
I finally found a book though that is explaining things in a way I can understand them.
