Windows updated automatically last night and now some of my most used programs won't open. For example, firefox, iTunes, WMM, msn.
Anyone had this problem before?

But I do use Norton to peridocally check that the Registry does not have "loose ends". Other than physical HD failure, I would bet Registry errors are the biggest weak spot with Windows machines.

Jul 02, 2011 12:17 | #8 I deleted all the updates , reintalled them and it worked. But it took a few tries. The first few times did nothing. 500D (and occasionally 7D )
