My only question is whether the GoPro has this low light capability and can this be fake? Sure looks real though.

How did the seagull figure out how to upload videos to youtube????

Edit - nevermind, I just read the description, I guess the owner found it afterwards.

It's a funny movie, but it's created by GoPro themselves as viral marketing.

A good reason for using a 1D. I would like to see the seagull that can fly away with my camera :P

On second thought.... I really wouldn't like to see that. Or meet it in a dark ally.

Like I said above GoPro created the movie themselves. They say that they smeared the camera with pommes frites (or something like that) and that they made many attempts before they managed to get a good enough movie.

I take it the GoPro has GPS and some way to tell someone where it is or did they wonder around on rooftops till they found it?

That is what I was thinking. Gotta be GPS tracked, or there's no way they could have retrieved it. Unless they got lottery lucky.

Not sure why they figured they needed to lie about it though. I think people would be perfectly content with the truth, that they baited the seagull.

"Hey guys we baited this camera to see how cool it would be to have a seagull give us arial pictures... neat huh" or blah blah blah... (I'm sure thay could have come up with a better slogan then me  )

Just saying, they didnt need the obvious deception.

It is a cool vid regardless.

Because the deception wasn't obvious...?

I don't think it was a deception just a lousy translation of what happened.
