how does BBF work when using a remote shutter release such as the canon RC-6? do i have to pre-focus the camera, or does the remote shutter override the BBF setting?

i believe my camera is set to AE/AF so the shutter button doesnt focus at all. should i switch to default when using remote?

thanks

You have to set things back to default in order to focus using a remote shutter release.
