Setup a quick and dirty 10 minute shoot for the kids a couple days ago.

This is the outcome...

Any idea how tough it is to get a 2, 4, and a 6 year old to pose for you all at the same time? Well, I do.

Very cute kids and awesome pictures! What kind of lighting do you use? I am purchasing mine online right now and at a local camera store later today so I'm excited to do better white seamless pictures like this!
I can't imagine posing 3 young kids at once, it is the exact reason I always turn people down when they ask me to take photos for them!!

Thank you Stacey. :)

I used a single AB800 (external link) with a Medium Softbox (external link) (Camera Right), Silver Reflector on stage left to fill shadows. That's it for the lighting.

I really need to get another light in the mix for the background though. My background is always underexposed. More dang money ... It never ends. lol.

Thank you! So many people seem to have the AB800. I've been doing TONS of research on lighting these days and can't wait to finally get mine. I hear ya about the money, it's CRAZY what you can spend on lighting (and everything else). I'm having a hard time using the $3000 budget we have saved up for JUST lighting instead of the 5DmkII I've been drooling over forever lol!

Thanks, Bruno. Your blog some really great work on it. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

So many people seem to have the AB800.

I did a lot of research when I was shopping for lighting. The AB's are simply the best bang for the buck, IMO. I wish I had a $3000 budget just for lighting, lol.
