holy moly camera gods!

In my posession is a 300mm 2.8is. I met my business partner for a brief chat this morning during a business trip and she handed me the case and said have fun with it. Ok she didn't give it to me.....rather loaned it to me til october......

Can't wait to try it out. The bad thing about this is I will have to buy one eventually....if I like it.

trust me if you buy a 300 mm 2.8,you will wish you bought a 500 mm 2.8 so aim for the 500 mm 2.8

Depending on what body you put it on, the 300 is not too short! :-)

Your problem is you will not want to take it off your camera!
Have fun.

Got one - on intial test I like it compared to my Mk2. I now have a useable 1200 F8!:cool:
