This is my first post on POTN, hopefully they are worthy. :) I snapped these last night at my moms cousins house in Lincoln. Beautiful place, have to go back sometime. C&C appreciated.

Welcome to POTN.

Shooting directly into the sun is very difficult. It typically produces flaring, especially on a clear day when it is behind thin trees. This is accentuated if you are trying to show details of an object facing away from the sun.

Thanks! I liked getting the flare on number 1, but im not sure about the others.

With regard to #1, flare can be a dramatic factor in a picture. But, the grass in the foreground (the only part in focus) was not substantial enough to hold your eye. And when you jump to the trees in the background (because they are dark and draw your attention) they are out of focus.
