I took this shot outside in my back yard yesterday of this strange looking insect that appears to be a species of dragonfly. Unfortunately it landed on a bag of mulch that was sitting there, so the background isn't the greatest.

Can anyone tell me what it is? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I knew that some knowledgeable person on P.O.T.N. would come through with an answer.
