Ferrari Challenge @ Le Mans

I'm a teammember of Ferrari Team Holland and we race in the Ferrari Challenge. It's our first season and Le Mans was our first race (fourth of the season). The free practice went well, we finished 8th out of 51 teams. The qualifying went a little bit better: 7th. The race went a lot better until our left rear suspension broke, when we hit a curb... We were in 4th place and attacking the 3rd spot. It happened it the penultimate lap...

The Ferrari Challenge was the support race for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. So we watched the 24 Hours race as well.
Anyway, I brought my camera and when I had some time off I was shooting. Here are some of my pics. The rest can by found on flickr. Shots are taken with a 18-55 or 70-300 (both Canon)

Those are some great captures! My favorites are 4 and 8, they really capture speed and your presence there very well, and they all prove you don't need expensive equipment to get awesome shots!

In shot 8, is that a Porsche 962 or a Mazda?

Thanks! Shot 8 is a Mazda 787B doing some demo laps prior to the 24 hours race.

Wow awesome shots, quite unbelievable actually. So jealous that you got to be so close, Le Mans is something that I definitely want to attend at least once before I die, and perhaps even drive around Circuit de la Sarthe. Keep up the great work!

Nice pics love the disc glow in pic 3 what number was your car ? i took loads of that group.

Our number was 189. The only orange car.
