umiwangu Hatchling 4 posts Joined Jul 2011 More info | Jul 01, 2011 09:54 | #1 I've been struggling for a couple days to find the right drivers for my old Canon Ixus V for my new laptop. I have the original CD, but Windows 7 doesn't seem to like the drivers on there. I downloaded a Zoom Browser update from the Canon website, but that didn't really do anything. The laptop recognizes that the camera is plugged in, but it can't find the drivers, either on the computer or online.

Yes, it's just for copying images. Good point. The only problem it's a CF card, so I guess I'll need to get an actual card reader, rather than using the one in the laptop.

Seth Go to Canon's support website and check for the drivers for your model. Although I don't know why you'd need them, buy a card reader as tkbslc suggested. Look HERE
