The clouds were mostly cooperating the other evening so I took a ride up one of our local highways through farm country. These are a combination of HDR processing and exposure blending.

#2 doesn't do much for me, but #1 and especially #3 do. Very Nice!

Awesome shots. I like them all, but especially 1 and 3.

I like them all Jon but number 2 would have been awsome if the irrigation was on and spraying water over the crops.

Super shots Jon - great skies.
You may want to look at the 1st for a blue cast in the foreground (sky is fine)

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments.

Gene, this sounds like a PS project. :)

Spike, nice catch. I'll correct it. Thanks!

Here's another shot similar to the 1st in the OP. This one is a 4 shot panorama and a huge file. I think I like the orig. posted better as the sky's a bit more natural and the foreground not as dark. But, no blue cast on this one.

And I would be remiss if I didn't throw up this shot. Big thanks to Gene for his PS processing help.

Looks fantastic! I do like the sky in number one a little more.. now I'm not any good at it, but maybe mask the two together?

Excellent shots. Wow.

Hey, in that last photo, the shadow looks fake. I'm sure it's real, but it looks odd. Still a fantastic shot, however.

Thank you. bw!

Thanks all.

aprescott, the files are not the same size and merging would prove to be a challenge. Still, your point is well taken and should I do anything with this, I'll address it. Maybe lighten up the foreground a little too.

Mike, you win the cigar! The tree and shadow were added in to give the shot a focal point. What was it about the shadow that gave it away?

I think it's the size of the shadow, and a little bit of the angle.
The tree looks real, however.

Thank you. bw!

Thanks MIke. I played around with this for some time until it looked right, but I agree, it could be better. I'll play some more. I'm wondering if maybe a little gradient blur might help too.
