took it out to use the other night (haven't used it for a couple of months) and it won't fire.
changed the batteries to new ones and same issues.

it powers up, pilot light is red and appears to have all functionality (less firing).
on camera all functionality (less firing)...
it also won't test fire off-camera...

any ideas?

- Was it stored properly? knocked around at all?

- Have you checked the bulb?

- Did you shake it to see if anything knocking around inside?

- Any battery leakage?

They are quite durable, normally..

If the red light is on but it won't fire when you press the test button, it needs a trip to an authorized Canon repair center.

haven't had a chance to check the bulb, but it has been stored well in its pouch and never knocked. no leakage at all...

sounds like a trip to canon...
