Hi guys a while ago I was blessed with the opportunity to second shoot for a wonderful NYC photog, I had tried wedding photography in the past but it never was a good experience till I got this gig, having second shot some of these weddings and watching the main photographer has improved my photography tremendously, from how to handle light, how to properly use my flash and one of the most important things, vie learned to stop previewing and deleting shot after shot, missing the moments worth capturing, so much to be learned from wedding photography...hope to continue learning....anyhow just wanted to share a mix of some shots vie taken.....not really any major wedding moments except for the first dances, since i tried my best not to get in the way of the main photog.

Here's my take:

#1: Fun moment. Hands are chopped off but don't think that's too big of a deal. She's a little too centered for my taste.

#2: Again, too centered and her hand is chopped off.

#3: Nice capture. I would crop tighter. The flash is a little bothersome but no big deal IMO.

#4: Standard issue shot. Looks crisp.

#5: Cool backdrop. Too centered.

#6: The P & S camera is bothersome. He looks OOF and there's a bubble by his mouth which is too bad. Don't mind the blown out background.

#7: I like it. The subject being centered doesn't bother me too much.

#8: Good capture. His fingertips are chopped off but that's a nit pick. (BTW, I do that all the time! :))

Yeah, and you are more prone to doing it thanks to the wonderful AF system in the 5D2! (I like blaming my gear when something goes wrong!:D;))

Nicksan gave you some excellent improvement advice, but I really like the moments you captured. Great job!
