I'm pretty sure it can be purchased with the 6d or 4d. But the 2d is better, but not as good as the 34 double d

Yes, first shipments are being prepared for the boat ride to America now. Being an "8" (or 2 cubed), one of those goofy Canon engineers decided to do everything associated with it it in powers of 2. So...start thinking about the lowly/noisy 7D and imagine if everything on and in it in powers of 2 like 16 knobs/dials, 32 mb images, etc, etc. I read they dropped the memory card storage option and have replaced it with a CD recorder you wear on your belt, the camera will use Bluetooth to talk to the CD recorder, and of course this leads to the elimination of that pesky little display on the back too, extending battery life. The 8D will ship with a LCD screen TV (32 or 64 inch - again, keeping with that powers of 2 thing) and a handsome Canon 4 wheeled red wagon with an integrated gasoline powered generator to power the LCD. The wagon will be available with street tires, or you can order the optional off road package. The wearable CD recorder will use Bluetooth to communicate with the TV for displaying and reviewing your images. They are selling a wardrobe package with the 8D for the time; brightly colored knickers, spiked shoes and a stylish pith helmet will offered in colors combinations that match the wagon.
