Glad to hear an update, Kenn. And to see all your wonderful images of the birds. Nature takes its course and it's not always as pretty as your pics.

Loving the beautiful survivors! Too cute.
So sad when chicks are lost but the survivors look fantastic. Missy is quite a mom and she's seems to have found a good mate. Congrats Kenn and hopefully these little ones will be just as fruitful for your Bluebird haven.
As always, great series of shots.
Very cute! I lost my first nest to a predator (not sure what, snake maybe) and my 2nd nest is doing fine. Chicks are 10 days old now and I've been watching them on the nestbox camera. Hope to get some photos when they fledge!
Thanks Dave, Flo, Steve, and Liz
We've been extraordinarily lucky to have had such great success with our Bluebirds over so many seasons here. This is the first time we've ever lost chicks in the nest, and only the 2nd time to have lost eggs to predation, but both are really quite common heartaches for Bluebirders generally. We don't have a nestcam but we're trying to be very vigilant for Missy's current nest which will most likely be her last for this season.
Liz - Sorry you lost a nesting there too... But we wish you and your Blues best success with this 2nd brood. Hope you do get some fledging photos and post 'em here!
Thanks again to all who commented.
Kenn
