I dropped my 580 ex 1 playing around with my g11 and now the wireless mode stopped working. The sensor that usually flashes isn't flashing anymore. Any ideas if this is something I can fix? I have an event next weekend so I need a solution within one week. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Dale

Even if you were a fully trained Canon flash repair technician, you would need an inventory of whatever part is broke.

Send it in for repair. You'll need to figure out "plan B" for next weekend's event.

Curtis, I was just about to post up what I found. The switch broke that sets it from master to slave. I unscrewed it and saw that was the problem. I guess its going in to canon. Thanks
