Honestly, she is so stinkin' cute and you are doing such a great job with this project. I checked in just to get my "Rylin Rae" fix. Our kids are all grown, even our grandkids are way older, so I miss having little ones around. When babies come over to my house for me to shoot, I hate to see them leave.... Thanks again for sharing your family with us. So cute.

Ryan...

I am so amazed at how Rylin has grown up and how you have evolved your photo skills.. This shot is a culmination of both aspects... What a great perspective! Thanks for sharing this journey with us Ryan & Rylin (and mom)

Thanks so much Shankar.

The biggest challenge with this project has been keeping it interesting and each shot unique. I think that has forced my photography to evolve.

I can't believe this project is almost complete!!!

Absolutely beautiful little girl! You can tell she loves having her picture taken... you have a live-in model for life! I just stumbled across your thread and looked at all of the photos... it's amazing watching someone's photographic skills evolve like this! Very very cool.

You've kind of inspired me to do 365's of each of my daughters... I hope you don't mind! It's an awesome idea.

Thanks Julia! She is actually pretty shy in front of the camera... believe it or not! I have to catch all those smiles and get alot of help from Tara! Good luck with your 365! It takes up a lot of time but is sooooo worth it!

I see you're almost done and I'm just now discovering your thread. What a beautiful girl and you take amazing photos. I'm at the very start and see you used an 85mm. I have one and thought about selling it but you just gave me some great tips to try so it may stay after all. I'm excited to read the whole thread and I really think a 365 is in order for each of my girls too!

Aaaaand relax.
I have had my Rylin Rae fix.

331 is adorable, but 332....well she just has such JOY about her. The shades, the leg up, the punching the air. She is surrounded by love and has not a care in the world....and boy does it show.

Ryan you have to promise not to stop posting when she hits 2. (not every day...but often :-) )

Oh yes....and good genes obviously run in the families as your niece is also a little beauty!

So, I've not been a member here long, but I just spent the better part of twenty minutes looking through every page of this thread.

Your photography is fantastic and your daughter is adorable!! Thank you so much for making this thread. You've given me the inspiration to attempt to do 365's with both of my sons! Luckily there's only a 4 month overlap for them, haha, one will be 5-6 years and one will be 1-2 years like with your Rylin. I look forward to seeing the pictures of your new baby when he/she is born, I agree with everyone else, do age 1-2, I just had a new baby in February, and there's not a whole lot of variety you can get from a newborn/infant.

Don't ever stop taking pictures and posting them! Please!

Thank you very much! I plan on doing 1-2 with our next little GIRL! Yup, thats right...daddy is outnumber! Shankar and I seem to have a lot in common!

Day 333 - I borrowed my friends 70-200 2.8. The lens is amazing.

Day 334 - Rylin is standing in a very special spot! This is where I found Tara's ring her grandfather made her. It fell off her finger and was lost for quite awhile. Daddy was determined and eventually found it packed into the dirt! This was also the same night mommy and daddy kissed for the first time!! Mommy must have realized that night that daddy was a good guy!

Day 335 - Grammy gave her a cookie before dinner. Right before I took this shot I asked her "Are you supposed to have that?!" Her response was this look and a slow, methodical bite!
