Do you need the 85mm if you have 135mm?

Amazing. 16 people giving advice about which lens is best and not one of them as any idea what the OP is shooting with the lenses other than "indoor" which could mean anything from night club shooting to child portraits to basketball in a large arena.

I have both. I prefer the 135 over the 85, but it depends on the situation/how close you can get to the subject/etc. When you have the money, purchase both.
