G series cleaning question.

I realize the lens system of the G cameras is "closed", in that we don't take off the lens, exposing internal parts of the camera. Does a G sensor ever need cleaned or is keeping the lens, along with any add-on lenses, etc the only cleaning required?

I don't believe you can or should have to clean the sensor of your G camera. They are sealed shut.

I do clean the outside of the lens when needed though.
