The Canon F1 was my all time favorite go to film 35mm companion (Canon A1 as a back up) I used this camera daily up until maybe four yrs ago, at that time I went digital with the Canon 30D. Great camera. I never could quite except the image quality via the viewfinder, (too small) but the 30D delivered great images. last year I stepped up to the 7D and haven't looked back. Nearly 100% image through the viewfinder, shutter as fast as the F1 .... The Canon 7D is my "go to" companion, the 30D is the back up. Do I miss film photography, at times yes. Like everything else in life you have to go with the flow and except change. Technology in the advancement of creativity (whew, got that out in one breath) isn't so bad. After all we've come a long way from the camera below .... H2o4nyc
