same here sold my XSi for a 50D and then sold that within 2 weeks and bought a 5D2 refurb. Will get it tomorrow!

Did you have to call Canon to confirm your information??? I was reading that this an unwritten rule that Canon fails to tell you.

Ordered mine today - upgrade from the 40D!

i bought the new canon 60D three weeks ago with allmost the EF-S Lenses and did not use it ( very little )
and now I bought a new canon 5DMark II full frame with the EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM and after use it i decided to leave the 60D to my little son
now i see all other cameras like a toys after useing the king of photography 5D Mark II
but my new cam always says to me : plz buy for me EF-L lenses and big zooms i want to eat so i can give you some of the magic images i had hahahahaha

Congrats! I'd love to go to FF. It would suit the type of pics I prefer to take such as architecture, portraits and landscapes. I just sold my 30D and haven't yet bought a replacement for it. A FF model would be my ultimate choice but cost is the thing that has prevented me thus far. Of course, I'd have to sell my two EF-S lenses. My manual focus M42 lenses would at least give me something to start with, until I could invest in some good EF glass.

There's always 5Dc to be considered.

Well that a first to see a Canon like that

I've been at this passion of photography for a long time. The Canon F1 was my all time favorite go to film 35mm companion (Canon A1 as a back up) I used this camera daily up until maybe four yrs ago, at that time I went digital with the Canon 30D. Great camera. I never could quite except the image quality via the viewfinder, (too small) but the 30D delivered great images. last year I stepped up to the 7D and haven't looked back. Nearly 100% image through the viewfinder, shutter as fast as the F1 .... The Canon 7D is my "go to" companion, the 30D is the back up. Do I miss film photography, at times yes. Like everything else in life you have to go with the flow and except change. Technology in the advancement of creativity (whew, got that out in one breath) isn't so bad. After all we've come a long way from the camera below ....
