Hey guys,

So I decided to go with PocketWizard

I just picked up a Plus II since its sort of a waste of money to use a Flex TT5 on my non-ETTL 540ez, since I had to get a Flashzebra hotshoe with a cord for either case

So for the transmitter, should I look into getting a Plus II, Flex TT5, or a MiniTT1???

I know the Flex has problems being used as a receiver. Does it have problems being used as a transmitter?

I only have the TT5s, using the TT5 for a transmitter instead of the TT1. No problems whatsoever.

I'd definitely go for the MiniTT1, so long as you are okay with having a dedicated transmitter (you will always need one). So much smaller and easier to work with in the field than the PlusII or Flex TT5 - but it does use a different battery, so keep some spares. Plus you can use hypersync to gain a bit more shutter speed.
