Waiting for the fireworks to go off last night. The sun was setting and what I like was how the color from right to left changed on the hillside due to the height of the sun at the time. 3 shots photomatix beta, LR, and Photoshop

Like this! Great job on the processing. Was there much ghosting on the boats?

not that I am aware of, photomatix does a nice job of alignment plus I was on a tripod

Thanks. I was experimenting with CHDK last year and shot some boats during a sunset. Ghosting was an issue then, but probably less so with a DSLR which is much faster. I'll be on the coast in a few weeks and give this another shot.

Nice, I like the colors in the sky.

Well I suppose it depends on how much water movement, it was fairly calm here
