It's been a while since I've posted any birds, but I got these puffins on a recent trip to Glacier Bay, AK and I thought they were worth sharing.

Nice series. #3 is high on the cuteness scale. Interesting looking puffin and different than the usual Atlantic Puffins which we see more frequently. Nice job!

Thanks. These were taken about a month ago and there was a lot of courtship going on. There are also Horned Puffins there, but we didn't see any. It's amazing how quickly one can go from "Wow, look at that!" to "Oh, it's just another Tufted".

Great shots. First time I've seen these guys. We're headed to Denali in August. Hope to see some birds there I haven't seen before.


My Gear: 6D, 7D, EOS-M w EF-M 22 f2 STM and EF-M 18-55 f3.5-5.6 IS STM, 17-40L f4, 24-70L f2.8, 100 f2.8 non-IS macro, 70-200L f/4 IS, 400L f5.6,, Canon 1.4x II TC, Canon Speedlite 430 EX II, Better Beamer.
