Just shot a fireworks show, and these spots are on the photos-the almost almond shaped bright spots. Brand new 60D, and 24-70 L lens

Flare.
If you are using a filter, take it off.

Lens flare. Flip the spots 180 degrees and they line up with the light sources in the houses.
Ditto on losing the filter if there was one.

Dust on the mirror or lens won't be seen in an image.

I don't think it's a flare, more like it is shot behind a window, and you turn on your room light, so there is your room light. Could be cloned in PS though.

There are four bright point light sources in the image, and there are four grey spots on the first image. Then in the second image, someone's house lights are turned on in the foreground, with a white light, and then there's an additional dimmer looking grey spot in the image. I'd say flare.

Could be, but why it is at the exact same spot?

The bright spots in the sky are definitely flare and are probably caused by a combination of the filter on the lens as well as the fact that the fireworks burst (and thus the bright lights in the neighborhood) is horribly overexposed.
