A couple from this weekend. I used corel PSP 'one step photo fix' to process these (rather than DPP unsharp mask) and think the male rthb is somewhat over sharpened. What do you think?

Thanks for looking.

Mind if I ask what lens you used? Ive been trying to capture hummingbirds for the past month, but they seem to avoid me, only coming out for other family members

I used a Sigma 150-500mm set at about 490mm, f8, 1/250 sec, iso 400 and a flash. I'm not sure why the exif data doesn't follow the photos I post on this forum.

Hummingbirds are a strange bird. ;) The ones around here will about land on me while I'm filling the various feeders or just sitting and reading on the deck, but show up with a camera and they won't come within 10 feet of me. So, I set up about 12 feet away and let them torture me for a couple of hours. I sometimes use a portable hide if I want to get closer but it's way to hot here most of the time to sit in one of those.
