here are a couple from a recent quince I did, client loved them; what do you guys think? this was one of my first very holistic sessions, please nitpick so i can grow from this experience.

In the first the lighting is causing you to lose her hair in the background. It should have a bit more separation.

The second looks pretty good.

What's a quince?

The second looks great. The first one, I'm not a fan of the lack of contrast. It looks kind of washed out to me. Still a nice shot though.

yes i see what you are saying, it could have used a kicker but i might have the drama-ish feel it has, here is the color version for comparo as well. a quince is a Hispanic sweet 16, except it's done at 15, quince means 15 in spanish.

the shoot got started very behind schedule due to inclement weather so we didn't have the greatest sky to work with, i shot it with 1 59" octobox with an inner diffuser and a grid. standard key light setup, my other strobe was in for warranty work so i was planning to use alot of sun for kicker light but i had to do without. thanks for the compliment.
