The hydrangea

I've always thought that flower name sounds like some sort of water based super-hero or super-villain....

I am pretty sure you can see the power setting of each flash, access the menu and adjust settings. However I have only used it on the RX's and both Rangers.

Thank you.

Can anyone confirm whether these work with bxri's and that you can see the power output?

Quadra with two heads and standard 7" reflectors

That's great stuff.

Very nice shot Simon. Shows what you can do with just standard reflectors.

Anyone had much to do with the Micro 3000 AS packs? I'm not looking at buying one, just curious as to why people don't use these? They are incredibly expensive new but used they plummet in price.

Same here. Only it was 11pm and I lost when we were shooting in an old quarry. Had to go back the next morning and search for half an hour :)

I really don't get why they didn't use the same ties as they did on the big Ranger.

I found that out the hard way lol, but Profot.de was nice enough to send me a free replacement part :)

Sounds bad, but also the caps can be bought as spares. I know keep a spare rubber part at home. Incase I brake this one. :D

Think it would be harder to make, simple rubber mold that holds on by friction is easier than attaching more metal bits to the main body. :)

There's currently one on eBay Aus. for $1250 without a mark on the pack. That's for a 3000w micro as digital (Aka new at bh for 5.5)

Perhaps. It's stll unnecessary. Just attach them to the same thing the strap is attached to and done.

Ok, time to go pluck some foam out of my 1620 :)

Good idea, maybe a DIY :)

Something from today,

And also the reflector decided to take a bath in some rusty water (?)... so this is the result. White side is stained, any tips on how to clean it?

Soak in a bath with napisan, rinse and hang up to dry.

Really beautiful work, were the reflectors with grids?

aaron.dunlap wrote in post #12824945 (external link)
simon is all about gridded BD's (and reflectors).... :-)

Very nice Simon , your work is always unique

Thanks guys

The two light shot was just reflectors / no grids as the quadra was struggling with power

The second shot is the standard Euro with 20 degree grid
