I think the fine arts/photography requirement is loosely implemented. A family member who majored in marketing applied and was approved two years running. Too bad she graduated I tried to talk her into going for a Masters degree but ....

The 1DsMKIII's biggest deal breaker for me, besides not so great high ISO performance, was the slow to display to the LCD.

I got mine after using the 5Dc and the 1Ds II, so it seemed amazing at the time. Note to self.... don't shoot with 1D IV or you will become discontent.

And the student discounts are pretty limited from what I have found from B&H. My dad has it and Ive been checking out somethings and most of what I was looking at wasnt even discounted.
