OK Pi shipping international logistics import export LLC has now shipped to two places canadia and UK. So if you see something and DONT need it right away I can probably do it.

I am going back to trolling CL.

Small tip, never ship UPS to canada, neither FedEx.

I just a very purdy pink font business email from UPS signed by a man.

I am now curious as to what exactly they are doing with the DO i paid for, and why they even have their hands on it... supposed to have been usps :( They also gave me the wrong name of the shipper to encourage my overall confusion!

I had mine out tonight and it was getting dark, so shot at 1.2 all the time. Often use it wide-open. Best lens ever. Great colours, look.

Don't ruin it for me :P I'm still happy with the 1.8

We get 15 extra leave days here due to climate.

Also, marble floors are really cold in winter.

I know you think it's funny but Delhi does reach 0 C in winter, there's no heating and windows are simple wooden frames. :(

On a slightly different note....

So the new EL-Skyport WiFi allows you to control certain Eli RX flashes functions with the iPhone app in a manner similar to using the EL-Skyport USB RX SPEED connected to a computer?

So the EL-Skyport WiFi and EL_Skyport USB RX Speed are both "transceivers" and act to communicate back and forth between control software (either the iPhone app or the Eli app on a computer) and the Eli flashes?

That is a good question. How would the computer know what power level you are on. I suppose the program on the computer/phone could just hit power down 60 times really quick when it starts up so that it knows that it will be at minimum power. I doubt this and think you would have to put this info in.

I have no clue and just wildly guessing in the dark. I do not RX flashes I do not have an Iphone.

The CPU is an RX moonlight or RX pack talks to the RX transceiver that gets plugged in to the strobe or pack.

The USB dongle for the computer is also a transceiver.

There's quite a bit of information that gets passed back and forth and you have a significant degree of control. Obviously it's ideal for boom or ceiling mounted lights and for controlling groups and modeling lights.

With the software you can see the number of times the unit has been powered on, number of pops, temperature inside the housing, and a few other tidbits.

Yes, that is correct. And, AAMOF, even the Skyport RX unit that attaches the strobe is a tranceiver. The RX units (strobes, heads and packs) maintain certain information, like the number of actuations, number of times the unit has been powered on, etc. that is relayed back to the EL-Skyport software. So, if you want to buy a used RX strobe or pack, you can use the software to check how much it's been used.

That's cool - to be able to check on how many times the tube has been triggered on a used strobe when you're looking at buying it......
