I'll make sure Dirk reads this, he might know. I know his local dealer has CL in stock and he was thinking about picking up CL strips. At least until he got the Chimera one off ebay. I think he's sold on Chimera now.

I use the one on the left. The one on the right is for camera stuff (EVERYTHING I have fits in there)

BXRi is FXRi here. D-Lites are also available but hardly cheaper than FXRis (I believe about 270-280 USD for 400ws).

I'll probably pick up a similar case, Peli 1650 or maybe only a 1610.

I prefer the term "students", and rent comes first, then comes the repair bill on the 5d2, THEN comes more eli gear, after that if theres anythin left i guess some food would be a good idea.

I doubt I'll be in the US before end of next year to visit my aunt in NYC. Unless I move to SF next year

Yeah they're single voltage, but more tolerant of spikes.

Just got a BXRI 500 from Adorama, I had a peek under the handle and saw One extra fuse only but there are two slots, are there supposed to be another one there?

One main fuse and one for the modeling light.
