Some of you seem obsessed with Mola dishes so you may find this interesting.
The Spanish Mola distributor did a test shoot with all the different dishes.

Direct link (external link), its in Spanish but the pictures mostly speak for them selves.

Interesting, but it doesn't look like they controlled exposure or white balance very well between shots.

It shows the shot with the Euro and the white grid with brighter shadows/less contrast than the plain white interior Euro with no grid. The shot with the black grid on the Euro is also drastically overexposed compared to the plain Euro shot.

It's a shame that they went through all the trouble of doing a test, and couldn't remember to use their light meter.

Ok, I have a lightmeter. Who wants to donate his Setti/Euro/Beamm for a comparison? ;)

My Photec inserts didn't arrive today to fit my Bowens QR. Has anybody tried using an Elinctrom speedring with Photoflex SBs?

Thanks
Ralph

Hi Ralph, I replied to your PM.

Photek and SP systems inserts are identical so try to get SP if you can't get Photek.

Unfortunately you can't use an Elinchrom Speed ring with a Photoflex lightbox.

Everyone knows that if you're an Artist, you don't need a meter...

Thanks, Dick
