Would yall suggest the Vagabond II or the Tronix Explorer XT and why? Other than the two cable connects on the Tronix Explorer XT i dont really see a difference. Hey Octowl, I don't have the D-Lite's myself but the general consensus around here is because they're bi-voltage the Tronix series suits them a lot better. Luke,

The Explorer XT will work with one D-Lite 4 but not two. The XT is no longer in production. The XT SE was designed to properly handle bi-voltage power supplies but it will still only work with one D-Lite 4 and will glitch with two. Robert

That was very informative, I appreciate it. Just so I know I comprehended everything...I should wait for the XT3 which comes out later this year if I want to use both my D-Lite 4 IT simultaneously even when on 2.0 or full power correct? TMR Design wrote in post #12774806 You don't have to do that. ![]() I'm testing a VML right now, doing pop tests and videos demonstrating recycle times and comparisons to the Explorer Mini. I'm just a little curious if the mains voltage of the strobe effects its performance on a battery. I assume not, but it's still intriguing. Luke,

He's just lazy. I only suggest that about a thousand times... Now with added bokeh. (Good lenses are irrelevant, apparently. Just add bokeh and textures in post. It's the in thing.)

WIll be interesting if it's any different. I recently acquired a 230v VML inverter that I hoped would improve (slightly) recycle times of my Einsteins while also providing a more multi-voltage strobe friendly power source for non-PCB lights. The performance of the 230v inverter has been quite disappointing. I started a thread over on PCB's tech forum that discusses this issue:
